Digital Marketing Executive (Victoria Island)

We are based in Victoria Island, Lagos and are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team and take our online presence to the next stage.

The Digital Marketing role at Garmspot is full time on-site role that involves developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic, deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution as well as experimenting with various organic and paid acquisition channels.

The ideal candidate will oversee the online marketing strategy for the organization by planning and executing digital marketing campaigns. This candidate will launch advertisements and create content to increase brand awareness. This candidate will have proven digital marketing experience and be able to monitor the company’s social media presence.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a marketing strategy to cater for both organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Prepare and monitor the PPC budget on a monthly basis
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly

Requirements

  • Min. 2 years work experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords & Tag Manager campaigns
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Passion for the fashion industry
  • Experience in consumer goods eCommerce
  • BSc/MSc degree

Nice to haves

  • Experience using a task manager e.g Monday.com, Asana or similar
  • Experience in Fashion industry

Social Media Manager (Victoria Island)

The social media strategist role at Garmspot is full time on-site role that involves developing and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our web traffic and our brand awareness.

The ideal candidate should have excellent multitasking skills to handle all of our social media accounts in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, we would like to make you part of our team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design social media strategies to achieve marketing targets
  • Manage, create and publish original, high quality content
  • Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
  • Liaise with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new product launches
  • Facilitate client-company communication (respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and Q&A sessions)
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network

Requirements

  • 2yrs min. proven work experience as a Social media strategist or Social media manager
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness

Retail Associate - (Ikoyi, Surulere, VI, Abuja)

Garmspot is a fast growing fashion platform with its origins in ecommerce. Garmspot has now expanded to include a physical retail network that is currently expanding. The platform is substantially enabled by specialised teams that deal with garment design, production and retail.

We are based in Lagos, Nigeria and are currently looking for a Retail Associate to join our team.

Job Objective:

The retail associate shall hold primary responsibility for ensuring the prompt receipt and processing of orders made by customers for items in the store. The retail associate shall be required to operate customer service functions as required by Garmspot.com and its physical stores. While this role usually requires 36 hour work-weeks, this associate shall only be required to put in 30 hours as the role requires weekend work.  You shall be interfacing with customers whose satisfaction must be ensured at all times.

Your Responsibilities shall be but not limited to:

  1. Customer Service

* Ensure efficient fulfilment of customers’ orders and requests.

* Collate useful qualitative feedback from customers and share with immediate supervisor to assist in product/service development and improvement.

* Respond to customers’ queries in a timely, effective and professional manner.

* Keep up to date with industry trends, conduct competitor research and anticipate changes in customer demand patterns

  1. Store Administration

* Notifying the line manager in advance of depleting inventory levels on items stocked at the store.  

  1. Events & Marketing

* The retail associate may be required to attend events powered by Garmspot and coordinate Garmspot hosted events. These events must be concluded with management via a report to your line manager. 

* Garmspot’s retail representative is to ensure an event review is conducted by the appropriate staff in the event that the associate is not in attendance at the event. 

* Establish timely and periodic updates on available stock at your store of operation.

* Ensure that product updates are done within the set timeframes in inventory.

 

Requirements

* Proven Experience in a fast paced sales environment 

* Significant experience in servicing customer queries.

* High standard of written and spoken English

* Proven work experience in e-commerce, fashion or a similar industry. 

* Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively assist customers and clients while ensuring they are satisfied.

* Ability to build internal and external relationships and partnerships.

* Emotional intelligence.

* Competent in coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously, working under pressure and delivering on tight deadlines.

Dispatch Riders

The Garmspot Group is a fashion enterprise involved in the design, production, marketing and sale of textile and fashion items on bulk and retail bases as required by the group’s customers and clients. Profit-Centres within the Garm Group include Garmspot, Garmprint and MerchHub.

Job description

The dispatch rider will be responsible for outdoor and indoor delivery, sending & collecting official documents, materials, packages and bulky items etc as needed.

Dispatch Rider Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery addresses.
  • Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.
  • Responsible for collecting monies and evidence of payment for bought items upon delivery to the customer.

Dispatch Rider Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

  • A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
  • Proven experience as a dispatch rider or relevant position.
  • Familiarity with relevant routes.
  • Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
  • Polite and able to get along with people.
